Preservation Dallas Annual Meeting
Join us at the historic, and 2018 Preservation Achievement Award winner, Longhorn Ballroom for the Preservation Dallas’ Annual Meeting. The Longhorn Ballroom was built by millionaire O.L. Nelms for country and western signer Bob Wills in 1950 with a quirky western theme false front. Over the years many music stars have performed at the Ballroom. The facility was recently brought back to life after years of decay and alterations. Thank you to Jay LaFrance and the Longhorn Ballroom for hosting the meeting in this most quirky space!
During the meeting a history of the building will be given from the owner along with a summary of Preservation Dallas’ work in the past year and plans for the new fiscal year. New board members will also be elected by the general membership present.
