VDL Pavilion. Measuring 12 x 4 m, it features beams, a ceiling with skylight, optional sides (with a choice of Kaufmann louvers or electric mini louvers) and a ceramic floor. The VDL Pavilion has a home automation system which controls the electric system via an app. Under the supervision of Dion Neutra, Richard Neutra’s son, updated construction methods and materials have been used while respecting all of the original details. We have a beautiful set of lounge chairs which dates 1960s when the Platners first made their debut in 1966 and bears the early name Knoll Associates and their 320 Park Avenue headquarters. Steel-rod construction with bronze-plate (a finish no longer available from Knoll – the ‘metallic bronze’ presently offered is a metallic paint).
