// the mesa shelf is an exploration into scale, perspective, and modularity using curved forms to transcend the materiality of the hardwood. The connections between the individual forms of the shelves mimic finger joints and harness a softer, naturalistic brutalism in the way this piece was conceived and made. This piece was conceived for Colony’s group show, Pas de Deux, 2019.
