Jason Long is a Partner at OMA, one of the world’s leading and most innovative design firms. He currently leads three OMA projects in Washington D.C.: the 11th Street Bridge Park; a masterplan for the RFK Stadium Campus; and a streetscape design for the Convention Center. In addition, Jason is a design partner for the new First and Broadway Park in downtown Los Angeles and was the project manager for the Lassonde Pavilion in Quebec and the Faena Forum in Miami. Jason’s OMA projects also include the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, the New Court Rothschild Bank, Milstein Hall at Cornell, The Avery in San Francisco and two new towers for Greenpoint Landing in Brooklyn.

OMA, founded by Rem Koolhaas, is internationally lauded for its ground-breaking designs. Among its many award-winning projects are the Seattle Public Library, the Casa de Música in Portugal, the CCTV headquarters in Beijing, and the Taipei Performing Arts Center. The firm’s Concrete at Alserkal project in Dubai was a finalist in the Aga Khan Award for Architecture’s 2019 competition. OMA’s presence in Dallas includes the Wyly Theater, a winning proposal for The Connected City, and the design of the recent Dior exhibition at the DMA. In Texas, Jason is OMA’s Design Partner for POST Houston, which will transform the former main USPS facility into a mixed use commercial and cultural center.

NOTE: Following Jason Long’s presentation, there will be a brief conversation between Jason and Ron Stelmarski, Forum Board member and Design Director at Perkins + Will, about important issues impacting architecture, design and urbanism.
