Nance House, a 2019 Preservation Achievement Award winner, was built about 1915 as a home for Mrs. Mattie Nance and her children. After she moved out in 1928, the home became a boarding house and then in the 1950s, it was subdivided into apartments. The current owners have painstaking returned the property to a single family dwelling.
