In-Town Outing to The Blue House in The Cedars

In-Town Outing to
The Blue House in The Cedars

Please join us Sunday, January 29th // 1:30pm.
Meet at 1519 Beaumont Street, Dallas, TX 75215

The recently-restored Blue House is one of the oldest homes in The Cedars district of Dallas, once home to a thriving German Jewish community. Our tour will include a presentation by Mark Birnbaum about the history of the house and neighborhood, and a tour of the historic remodel.

We will meet at the home of Jay Baker, who is one of the preservationists who has restored the Blue House. Jay lives a few doors down, at 1519 Beaumont St, Dallas, TX 75215.

If the gate is locked when you arrive, please call Jay at 214.621.3411, and he will buzz you in.

This event is being co-presented by Preservation Dallas and the Dallas Jewish Historical Society.

Attendance is free, but any donations are appreciated. Donations received for this event will be shared evenly between the two organizations.
