The Form Follows Fitness 5K presented by Blackson Brick and benefiting The Architecture and Design Exchange, is Dallas’ Best 5K event showcasing downtown’s Iconic Architecture. Run through the region’s cultural life, Uptown, The Arts District, West End and through the skyline and glass high rise buildings with award winning architecture. The proceeds benefit the Architecture and Design Exchange, and the race is presented by Blackson Brick Company, Inc. Registration includes a short sleeve, dry fit style shirt (a slick-looking one you’ll actually wear), a unique finisher medal, which in 2024, will be the third in our Greg Brown Memorial Discover Your City Series, plus a legendary after party at Klyde Warren Park featuring live music, great food samples, and tasty craft brews from around DFW!

The Architecture and Design Foundation fosters access to architecture and design for all. The Foundation seeks to be a catalyst for increasing public awareness about how design impacts our lives through the public programs, exhibitions, and tours hosted at the Architecture and Design Exchange (AD EX) located in downtown Dallas and beyond. AD EX’s K-12 activities inspire, encourage, and educate students while highlighting the importance of creative problem solving. Additionally, the Foundation awards over $45,000 in annual scholarships and fellowships, making college and careers accessible and supporting the next generation of architects and designers.
