Eddie Leon Returns

Eddie Leon Returns, narrative work by Ray Madison (aka Fort Worth artists Linda and Ed Blackburn) will be on view at The Reading Room from September 14 through December 7. The exhibition will include painting, drawings and video which are based on the comic strip The Adventures of Eddie Leon created by the fictional Ray Madison. Caleb Bell is the guest curator.
Linda Blackburn received her BA from the University of Texas, Austin and MA from the University of California, Berkeley. Ed Blackburn received his BFA from the University of Texas, Austin and MA from the University of California, Berkeley. The Blackburns’ work both individually and collaboratively, has been shown extensively in galleries and museums throughout Texas, including the Modern Art Museum, Fort Worth and the Tyler Art Museum.
