Samuel Lynne Galleries is pleased to announce renowned contemporary artist JD Miller’s annual Valentine’s Day LIVE painting, which will take place on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 6 – 9pm, at Samuel Lynne Galleries (1105 Dragon St. | Dallas, TX) with Miller starting the LIVE performance at 6:45pm.

This date marks the ninth year of this event, which has become a staple Valentine’s performance here in the city of Dallas. Viewers will have the unique opportunity to witness Miller in the midst of his craft, as he takes each attendee on an artistic journey of color, oil paint, joy, and above all, togetherness. Each year, McShan’s Florist donates a one-of-a-kind floral arrangement that Miller interprets LIVE using oil on canvas. Miller takes a few quick looks at the real floral arrangement and reinterprets it using his signature 3-Diemnsional oil application. Brining the arrangement to life on the canvas is something only Miller and his signature applications could achieve, and each year he produces a unique and exciting composition.

This Valentine’s Day, audiences will have the opportunity to become a collector of JD Miller’s iconic oeuvre, as Samuel Lynne Galleries will raffle off one of his beautiful and sought-after Zen Acrylic artworks. JD Miller began his painting career over 25 years ago with a vision. To perfect his style of 3-dimensional oil painting, from his first painting translations of classical works by artists like Pablo Picasso, Vincent van Gogh, and Paul Gaugin, to the creation and evolution of his own style. Miller imbues his prismatic work with a spirit of positive energy, love, peace, and joy as a fulfillment of his Reflectionist philosophy.
