She is actively engaged in educational and non-profit organizations, and has established strong ties as a civic volunteer for The Family Place and The Hockaday School, from which her two daughters graduated. She understands the importance of networking among peers and is well-connected.
Katye holds a B.S. degree from the University of Louisiana – Monroe and a J.D. from University of Houston School of Law. She is the former co-owner of Translations, a longtime favorite shop in Preston Center.
