About Jason Thomas

Jason found his niche in the real estate industry quickly after joining more than 16 years ago. He discovered his strengths by utilizing proven processes and strategic thinking to deliver unparalleled, quality customer service and satisfaction. Today, he serves the Dallas area with unfettered enthusiasm and grit.  It was this experience and passion that allowed him to be a founder of both Local Resident Realty and CNT Real Estate.

Before his real estate career, Jason was a consultant with Accenture. He learned the value of service, structure, and innovation by coaching global companies toward higher performance and managing a $100 million retail account.  Jason began building an innovative and sophisticated real estate model that benefits the buyers, sellers, builders, and his team via ambitious enterprising and proven processes. When you hire him, not only do you receive the benefit of his enthusiasm, but you receive his inestimable business and tech insights, too.    In his professional field, Jason has received the award for D Magazine’s Best Realtor, a Top Producer award, Advocate’s Top 25 Agents, and the Texas Monthly Five Star Award. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.B.A. in Marketing and has worked in various marketing, consulting and sales roles since graduating.

Jason is a proud father to his three sons and loves the rivalries that come along with having a Longhorn, Razorback and an Aggie.  When not showing houses or negotiating a transaction he enjoys visiting his sons, walking his lab Duke at White Rock Lake, golfing and fly fishing in a remote river.

Jason was awarded the Richardson Independent School District’s Golden Apple award for his dedication and commitment to the RISD schools and PTAs. As a civic-minded professional, Jason has been a member of multiple community boards and organizations such as Exchange Club of Lake Highlands, Wild for Cats, White Rock Elementary PTA, WRE Dads Club, WRE Auction Chair, White Rock Valley Neighborhood Association, Hoops in the Highlands, Junior Achievement, and Habitat for Humanity. He also coached for SVAA football, Dallas Chamber Baseball, Lake Highlands Soccer Association, and the Lake Highlands 7-on-7 football junior high team.
