Jason Landry graduated from SMU’s Cox School of Business in 2006 with a degree in Real Estate and Finance. He began his career as an analyst for the Investment Sales Group at Transwestern in Dallas. During his time there, Jason helped in the valuation and disposition of institutionally owned office properties and portfolios across the state. “Though I loved working at Transwestern and learned a great deal about the commercial and institutional side of CRE, I decided to take some time off to travel the world.” In 2008, Jason and a friend traveled to 13 countries in under 6 months. He visited parts of Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Jason said, “my experiences during this trip were invaluable and I was able to see places and cultures I never thought I would see in my life time.”
Upon returning from his travels, Jason was given the opportunity to run a start up record label in Texas. He was tasked with the management and release of two albums for two different country artists. Both artists and albums were critically acclaimed and have been presented a number of awards for their work. Though Jason continues to love music and is still involved with the label, real estate called his name once again in 2011.
Since graduating from SMU, Jason stayed involved in the real estate community. When the opportunity came to work with two of his good friends at Brinkley Property Group, he couldn’t resist. Jason and Kyle had been friends since first meeting freshman year at SMU. “I saw that Kyle was building a great reputation in the neighborhoods he worked. I liked what he was doing and wanted to bring my experience to the group, while helping build a great company.” Now, Jason is working in all aspects of the business, representing both residential and commercial clients. “I love what I do and am happy to come to work everyday, I couldn’t ask for a better job!”
Jason is a licensed ©REALTOR and a member of the National Association of Realtors, North Texas Association of Realtors and the Collin County Association of Realtors. He brings 10 years of Residential and Commercial Real Estate experience to the group. Jason has lived in Dallas for over 13 years, along with his wife and two kids.
