About GALLERY 440

Annual Art Collector’s Show

The Annual Art Collector’s Show is Gallery 440’s signature exhibition, showcasing an impressive selection of modern and contemporary fine art, including pieces from the esteemed Fort Worth Public Library Foundation collection. (All sales from this collection will benefit the Foundation.) This compilation features early Texas art and beyond, encompassing various genres such as abstracts, landscapes, seascapes, figures, and still lifes. Highlights include works by Emily Guthrie Smith, Carol Benson, JT Grant, Seymour Fogel, Tony Saladino, Robert Swain, and many more. Sales from the FWPLF collection of donated art directly benefit the creation of the Foundation’s endowment. The exhibited collectors share a deep enthusiasm for modern Texas art, reflecting their passion and dedication to preserving the rich artistic heritage of the region.

Gallery 440 will participate in the Fort Worth Art Dealers Association’s (FWADA) Fall Gallery Night on Sept. 7, from 12-9 p.m. The exhibit, featuring works from various artists and jewelry by Susan Sitzes, will run through Oct. 18. The evening switches in high gear with music by resident “DJ” mc mlo, 5-9pm.
