In 1996 Scott launched his own real estate firm, Scott Carlson Real Estate, and over the next 15 years, he grew his firm and stayed focused on the Lakewood market, again becoming the #1 independent real estate firm in the Lakewood area.
In 2014, Scott Carlson’s firm merged with Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, as part of its expansion in the vibrant Lakewood market. Carlson traveled to Dubai, UAE for the opening of the Dubai Sotheby’s International Realty office, where he met agents from the company’s Spain, Toronto, Italy, New York, India and Miami affiliates. “The opportunity to partner up with the Sotheby’s International Realty brand gives me the platform to take my business to the highest level, connecting people from around the world with beautiful and unique homes in Dallas”, Scott says.
