Pacific Plaza is the latest addition to the parks in the center of Dallas and the beginning of a series of four parks opening downtown between now and 2022. Designed by SWA with a pavilion by HKS, the 3.74 acre park features lawn space, play equipment for children and adults alike, and a mature grove of live oak trees incorporated from a previous pocket park on the site.

Join Chuck McDaniel, managing principal for SWA, on a tour of the park as he discusses its inspirations, construction process and its impact on the future of downtown.

We’ll gather at AD EX at 11:30 a.m. to see the latest exhibition and a model of the park pavilion. Then, we’ll walk over as a group to the tour at the park.
